A renowned uniform retailer using Shopify to manage its eCommerce operations recently switched to UniformMarket as their business started to grow and they wanted to streamline their B2B operations. They have been in business for over 50 years and are known for their strong commitment to quality

But handling B2B uniform requirements is a different ball game altogether. It demands a robust tech stack and out-of-the-box functionalities to provide customers with a seamless uniform purchasing experience. To start with, Shopify didn t support uniform group sales wherein the retailer can create dedicated uniform stores for each customer, tailored to their needs, and manage them all from a common admin. They had to create a new website for every new customer they onboarded which delayed implementation and increased operational costs.

On the other hand, Shopify didn t have as many uniform-centric features like Allowance, Payroll Deduct, and Supervisor Order Approval. The retailer had to work with third-party developers to build these extensions to meet client needs which made expansion very difficult.
