How To
General Product Pricing

On the Product General Data Page, when you first create the product, the price you enter is referred to as the General Product Price.

This is the price that will flow down to any SKUs that do not have their specific SKU price over-ride box checked. If all your products are the same price in every sku and size, you'll only need to fill in this price and you're all set.

If you need to change any of the prices for the skus because of color or size, you'll click on the general skus button. It looks like this:

This will take you to the page shown below. Here, you'll be able to change any prices relating to a specific sku.

If you need to only change a few prices, you'll do so in this screen. Here, only size "2XL" needed to be changed. This was changed below by clicking on the box next to the price, which overrides the normal price, and entering the new price.

Store-Dependent Product Price

The Price that is in Product General Data is not the price that is necessarily used in the store.  Since the UMSS can contain 1 or many stores, the price of a product has to be store-specific.

If the price entered in the beginning at product general data is the price for every store, nothing needs to be done. However, if the price needs to be changed for a specific store, we would start by first clicking on the "stores" tab while already in the product we want to change. Here, the price we have first chosen in our product shows below.

If this is not the price we want to use in a specific store, but is the price for every sku in that store, we would change the price here. We do so by clicking on the box next to the price and changing the price.

If the price needs to be changed in specific skus in the store, we would need to find those skus to change the price. This can be found by clicking on the sku's button in the store view, as highlighted below:

After going into the store skus, prices are changed just like they were in general skus for specific colors or sizes.
