Anyone who's been tracking the financial situation has heard that statistics showing recovery are starting to trickle in. This is great news for all of us in and related to the retail markets. While there are still grim numbers out there, we're finally getting some good news in our morning business section. We at UniformMarket are glad to have helped so many of our clients weather this storm, and we continue to be here when you need expert help creating and managing your online presence. Don't hesitate to give us a call to see how we can help you get the absolute most out of your web store! Remember that now is the best time to lock in your top clients with a "private web store" that helps them purchase products from you.
I bring this up because, as you'll see in this month's featured article, we're about to really get into the swing of the fourth quarter. This is the make-or-break time for many retail entities – both physical and electronic based. It's September already. Have you implemented the plans you had for the year? Are you on target to top last year's sales figures? We want to help you make that big final push for 2009 and capture what you might be missing. As always, I'm just a phone call or email away! I was browsing through some facts and figures a few days ago, and stumbled across the U.S. Census Bureau's tracking of quarterly e-commerce sales. This is a really fascinating report, especially since we're just a few weeks away from the fourth quarter of 2009. The chart of e-commerce as a percentage of total retail sales is a rising yet bumpy road. It's clear that the overall trend is showing almost constant upward motion.
The UniformMarket staff is now offering FREE training during our weekly webinars. Each week a topic is explored to help web store administrators better use the UniformMarket Store System, market their web stores and sell more uniforms!
