Outlook XP / Outlook 2002 / Outlook 2003
SYMPTOMS
Please follow the directions below for setting your email client up to work with uniformmarket.com if you're using Microsoft Outlook XP, also known as Outlook 2002, or Outlook 2003.
SOLUTION
You need to be viewing the "Email Accounts" window. This will be the default that pops up automatically if you have not already configured an email account within Outlook. If you have already configured an account and need to add your uniformmarket.com account to Outlook, or if you need to change your settings on your existing uniformmarket.com account to the method of sending described here, you can find the "Email Accounts" option in the "Tools" menu.
- Select "Add a new e-mail account" on this box. Existing customers will want the "View or change existing e-mail accounts" option instead.

- Select POP3 as your account type. IMAP is available for advanced users but please understand its limitations before using it. Click "Next".
- This screen is where you will need to configure the majority of your account settings. Please use the pictures below as a reference. The picture demonstrates the setup for a pretend customer who is configuring their email client for sending and receiving email from their sales address for their domain, mydomain.com. Existing customers, please note that you probably already have this portion completed correctly, the important part for you is the next step regarding the "Outgoing Server" configuration page.

- Click on the "More Settings" button after entering everything you can on the previous screen. On that screen, the important part you need to change is on the "Outgoing Server" tab. Please select that tab and then turn on authentication as demonstrated in the picture below. You can selec the options that says "Use same settings as my incoming mail server" Do NOT check the box that says to use "Secure Password Authentication".

- Once you finish configuring that, click the OK button and then the "Next" button on the email account properties screen. That should complete the setup and allow you to start sending and receiving email with uniformmarket.com.
