Please follow the directions below for setting your email client up to work with uniformmarket.com if you're using the mail software built into Apple's Mac OS X (Jaguar).

You need to be viewing your "mail preferences" window. To get to that window, start mail, select mail, and then select "Preferences".

• Click the "Add Account" button to scroll open the account sheet.
  
  
  
  
• The "Account Information" screen you now have is where the majority of your settings are configured. The first option is the "Account Type". Select POP as your account type. IMAP is available for advanced users but please understand its limitations before using it.
  
  The next option is "Email Address" where, as it says, you enter just your email address.
  
  "Full Name" follows; this is where you can configure how your name appears to people you send email to. It can be your real name, your company name, or even a combination.
  
  The next section is relating to checking your email. The "Incoming Mail Server" will traditionally be mail..com where you replace with your actual domain name hosted with uniformmarket.com, in our example we've used mydomain.com as the customer's domain name so his mail server is mail.mydomain.com. The "User Name" is simply your email address again. The password is set to what you configured in our email administration web page or what you were given by your domain administrator.
  
  
  
  
• With your settings configured, select "Add Server..." from the "Outgoing Mail Server:" drop down bar. It will pop open a new window.
  
  
  
  
• In the new "SMTP Server Options" window that pops up, first fill in the "Outgoing Mail Server" box. This will be the same server as your incoming mail server described previously as mail..com with the appropriate value filled in. Also make sure that "Authentication" is set to "Password".
  
  
  
  
• After configuring the server name and authentication type, you will need to fill in the "User Name" and "Password" used for sending email. This will be identical to your incoming email settings, namely your email address is your "User Name" and the password is the same. Click OK when finished.
  
  
  
  
• After clicking OK on the last screen, your new "Outgoing Mail Server" should now be displayed and you should be ready to use uniformmarket.com email services.
