2006
- First company in the United States to focus on being the subject matter expert and webmaster for the uniform industry
- Initial group of 5 uniform dealers (retailers) signed on to assist in incubating an ecommerce solution tailored to needs of industry
- UniformMarket Store System (UMSS) introduced to solve the “true SKU” inventory and uniform end-user substore creation issues dealers faced. and was
- Initial software was written in HTML and ColdFusion, with a unique Microsoft SQL database for each web store.
2007
- Feature enhancements added every month since UMSS introduction
- Subsequent new web stores have all had the benefit of the feature and product knowledge that was created in the previous stores
- Initial group of uniform dealers expanded to 36
2008
- Introduction of first drop-ship program with medical uniform manufacturer, who private labels a “sole distributor” store initiative to their authorized dealers
- Uniform dealer user-group expanded to 85, who collectively ran 190 online stores
2009
- Created a team of data experts to reach out to uniform suppliers to work with the manufacturing community to pro actively acquire and manage the product assets of the industry
- Introduced common code set (V2.5) for all web stores to be created and operate under
- Uniform dealer user-group expanded to 140, who collectively run 320 online stores
2010
- Introduced the first single common database from which all web stores use the same product library
- Introduced the first true “subscription product library architecture” from which web store owners could choose to have product automatically updated into their stores as products
