Refresh and Reach Out

Here at Uniform Market we practice what we preach. Just last issue, I included an article touting the importance of updating your website periodically to keep it looking fresh, and I'm proud this month to announce our own website redesign. Uniformmarket.com has a sleek new look and lots of features that enable you to explore all that we can offer your company.

One of the features I encourage you to take a look at and share is our explanation about the Vendor Alliance Program. We've been able to add some key manufacturers and suppliers thanks to dealers encouraging them to join. If you have a manufacturer catalog you'd like added to our system, send them to the Vendor Alliance Program page for all the info that helps explain how it works and how it can benefit both your manufacturer and your own business.

Redesigning Our Home Base

UniformMarket.com Re-launched!UniformMarket.com has a brand new look, and we've packed it with some helpful tools for all of our clients. Our new look is the first thing you will notice. By using large, bold images, we are able to say more in fewer words. The layout is clean and sleek, and our navigation menus have been reconfigured to help you find the things you want more quickly.

But even more important than the overall look of the site is what we have packed inside. In response to the many requests we've had from our customers, we have compiled a master list of all the vendors who are in our StoreSystem Vendor Alliance Program. Our catalog page, shows clearly which vendors have catalogs in the system currently, which offer near-real inventory status updates, and which provide the added drop-ship capability. You can browse catalogs and order them for your store with the click of a mouse!

We've also expanded our explanation of the Vendor Alliance Program, to help you get more of your vendors on board. We've been hearing great feedback from our StoreSystem users about how easy it is once a vendor is part of our system. We're making it as easy as possible for you to encourage your vendors to take part in the UniformMarket system. By explaining how they benefit from participating, they are more likely to join in. So send the vendors whose catalogs you'd like to see added to our Vendor Alliance Program page. Let us know who you've passed the link on to, and we'll follow up with them on your behalf.

On top of all this, we have a new component: our Ready-to-Sell stores. When it comes time to launch a new web store, we have some basic sites already built and customized for our most popular industries. These are pre-loaded with shopping cart functioning, private store capability, and personalization options. We currently offer Ready-to-Sell stores in the targeted areas of medical, industrial, security, postal, hospitality, and general uniforms. This is a quick way to get a basic store up and running.

The re-launched UniformMarket.com brings all the information about UniformMarket, our StoreSystem, the Post Office utility and lots of other features into one location. Bookmark the new site and use it often to keep tabs on everything we're doing to help make your online store easier and more successful. We welcome your input on anything else you'd find helpful!

Upgrade to 2.5 today!We will be discontinuing support for Versions 2.4 and lower on 4/30/2010. Note also that we have stopped adding any new features to client’s stores that are running versions 2.4 or less, as of 02/15/2010.
