Welcome
Hello. You know the expression “be careful what
you ask for?" We have seen wonderful growth
this year here at UniformMarket. We now have 122 companies
of all sizes using our UniformMarket Store System. Yes,
there have been growing pains and we appreciate everyone’s
help working with us as we ramp up our systems!
We are proud to be working with Landau Uniforms and offering
a targeted-use license of our software to Landau Retailers.
Read below for how that program is working. Plus, an integral
part of successful online selling is presenting appropriate
landing pages (the places shoppers go after they click
on something off the home page). For uniform sales, this
means categories of products arranged by market segment,
product style or job functions. Read below about the basics
of how to compose landing pages.
Enjoy!

How
To
Coming
in for a landing (page)
Landing pages are the page that can be seen after clicking
on a brand or a category on a website. It's a launching page
to the actual products. Below are examples ranging from simple
to more complex.
A simple example of a landing page comes to us from Klug Uniforms,
seen below.

You can see this page by clicking on the link on the left hand
side of the site for Edwards Garment. It brings up a list of
categories, such as aprons, belts, chef apparel, etc.
A slightly more complicated design is seen in Uniforms Today,
seen below.

This page has the same sort of process on the left, with categories
in a list. Clicking on the category Landscapers brings you to this
landing page that contains a picture of an example person in that uniform as well as pictures of the bus-categories within Landascapers. Clicking
on one of these pictures takes you to the products in that
category -- shirt, pants, etc..
A final example comes from Unitex Direct. They have taken
the landing pages in a more artistic direction, which is eye
catching. See the example below.

This example shows all the categories under the brand 5.11.
It incorporates the logo for 5.11 and shows an attractive picture
of each category heading with more artistic text below.
All of these pages can be made for any UniformMarket
store. If you'd like to see a page like one of the three listed
in your website, contact your customer service representative
to start the process. You can reach Jessica at 877-415-3300 ext.
203 or Anthony at 877-415-3300 ext. 206.

5 Questions With Kathy Morris
Q: What types of uniform
customers does cater to?
A: A & H Uniforms caters to all types of professionals
including medical and security. We also serve church
groups and are branching out to offer school uniforms to
the community.
Q: Why did you decide
to use the UMSS and how has it helped your business?
A: We chose UMSS because of the quality
and professional look provided by the easy to use
templates provided. UMSS also allows for
customer ease with navigation in addition to the
ease on the client end in regards to inputting
product information and placement. With the
correct marketing and large client base, UMSS has
the potential to allow our business to continue
to grow.
Q: What plans do you
have for marketing your website?
A: We are beginning
to market our website by utilizing an email database newsletter
in addition to print ads in various newspapers. By
offering discount codes with assigned sales periods, we are
able to offer promotions to generate interest and spread
the word of our sites. By housing both our main site
and our Landau site with UMSS, we are able to promote both
sites with one URL. We are utilizing the discount code
portion of UMSS for large institutions such as local hospitals
and doctors offices to generate hits to our sites as well.
Q: How have your customers
responded to your web site?
A: We are in the beginning stages of promoting
our website. However, due to the nature of
our business and services provided, the initial
response has been positive and receptive. With
continued promotion, the added convenience of shopping
in person on by utilizing our main site or Landau
site should provide substantial growth for our
business.
Q: Where do you see
online sales and/or online customer service going in the
future for your company?
A: A & H Uniforms is continuing to grow
with a bigger and better store which was just acquired
the beginning of June. Our websites are
a small portion of the services we hope to provide
to our community. It is our motto that customer
service is an attitude, NOT a department. With
that in mind, it is our primary goal to provide
any and all options to make obtaining necessary
work equipment, church or school uniforms, or any
other necessary products as easy as possible for
our customers. |
